      <image:title>Home - Our season rod fishing is based on the The Avington Estate Fishery, now including the Denford Fishery which combined extends to some six miles of double and single bank fishing on the “Middle Kennet” and tributaries. A predominantly game fishery, there is a great variety of fishing to suit all levels of experience throughout the season including what is most often a spectacular mayfly hatch.</image:title>

The fishery and its fishing hut can accommodate groups of up to twelve or larger groups by special arrangement. The fishery provides a wide variety of fishing to suit all abilities and the estate is able to offer kit hire and guiding by arrangement.</image:title>

      <image:title>Group Bookings - Group bookings and corporate days can be now be taken across the avington estate Fishery, which lies at the confluence of the Rivers Dunn and Kennet downstream from Hungerford.  It boasts a thriving population of wild trout.  The fishery is lightly and delicately stocked with young brown trout to help maintain the population. The beats at Avington extend to some 6 miles of largely single bank fishing, serving a mix of small technical carriers and main river which can cater for all abilities.</image:title>

      <image:caption>Toby joined us in 2015 having graduated from Sparsholt College with a Diploma in Fishery Management and a degree in Fishery Science. He is a qualified a fishery guide and coach and has huge knowledge and experience of southern chalkstreams. Toby has a passion for river and fishery management and has helped to create some of the best fishing at avington.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Tobias Keene, D.D.S. Hailing from Richmond, Virginia, Dr. Tobias Keene brings a bit of unabashed Southern hospitality to all his patients. He moved to Washington, D.C. over thirty years ago as a freshman at Ivy College. Right after graduation, he attended World University’s School of Dentistry. Before opening Keene Dental in 1994, he worked for free clinics and some of the finest practices in the District. He is part of the 123 Dental Association and stays up-to-date on the latest dental discoveries. When not striving to keep his patients happy and healthy, he’s enjoys hiking with his family in Rock Creek Park.</image:caption>
